I signed up again for my third "Dill After Dark with AG Pickleball" open play next Friday (1/23/2026) at Dill Dinkers North Bethesda. The cost is $15, and the event runs from 8 to 10 PM every Friday for the next few weeks. It was so fun playing last night! I made new friends and enjoyed the mix of beginners, advanced beginners, and intermediate players. There were 54 players but I only played with 8 or so. The atmosphere was friendly, with a good balance of new and seasoned players. A few players I played with were advanced intermediate players (some were spouses who dropped in at our courts to play with their spouse). It was cool to watch them and try to return their crazy low serves and slices. I enjoyed the challenge especially because we all rooted for each other and elevated our games! It was refreshing to see the staff/manager vacuuming the floor with a nice compact Dyson while we were playing. He was also sanitizing the tables and chairs by the beverage area where you can get free coffee, etc. The players know him well. He even played a quick game with them at one of the challenge courts before closing. The bathroom was freshly cleaned when I went in. They provide complinentary mouthwash, hair ties, deodorant spray, feminine products, q-tips, etc. It was heavenly!👼🤗

I love Dill Dinkers. It's great having an indoor facility but it's the friendly staff that sets the tone

Out of towner dropping in for open play on a Saturday morning. It was $16 for a two hour session. There were only 12 registrants for 4 courts. I played nonstop. I'm a 4.0+ player. I'm pretty sure there was nobody else there above 3.5. I had a good time anyway. This was not nearly as chaotic as the Rockville location. I really believe it's because you have to check in before heading to the court. They looked to have a smoothie bar, but couldn't tell if it was open. This was much better than the Rockville location. Plenty of parking and far more orderly.

Awesome facility and special thanks to our instructor Cristin Caine who made this a fun outing for our team of all skill levels! We learned a ton and leveled up quickly in just 2 hours of instruction/play. Court reservations for our group outing/event was handled smoothly - definitely recommend as an event for your team.

Such an awesome indoor facility! WISH we had an indoor pickleball place like this in LA. This is our 3rd year in a row playing here. Katherine has gone above & beyond in helping us to reserve multiple court times for the 4 days we visit each time. She’s also helped us book our friends who live locally as well as reservations with excellent instructors. They have a dozen courts including 2 skinny courts that are all separated by fencing, multiple balls at each court, & lots of the newest paddles to demo (Pickleball Central handles their paddles & great gear/apparel) They have tons of free parking & all of the staff are really nice & helpful. Super clean facility & the members are super nice & friendly. We can’t wait to return in 6 months! Cheers & fun playing! Thank you again Katherine!

Courts are clean, staff are professional and friendly. Plenty of parking spots. Have free fountain drinks. Accessible clean bathrooms. Events and activities are well organized. Prices are reasonable with a membership. Highly recommend.

Great please to play Pickleball, The lady in charge of reservations and customer service should be a bit more polite and understand that not everyone knows how the system works.

Updating my review- as long as you ensure you are signing up for an appropriate level that has enough attendees things seem to be ok and work out. The key is making sure activities have enough attendees and aren’t going to be empty. That’s when there aren’t enough players to balance ability levels While the facility itself is very nice; I can’t recommend it for open play. Players should be aware of the structure of open play. To elaborate: They will advertise a beginner and intermediate court however those ability levels will be collapsed into one court under the 2.5”+” guise. Meaning: if you signed up for beginner and there aren’t many players, rather than cancelling for low enrollment, you’ll end up playing with advanced players who did sign up. This is not fun for the beginners getting dominated on the court nor the advanced players who can’t get into a volley rhythm. It seems organized and set up well at registration and reservations but the reality on-site are very different. Open play with caution and appropriate expectations

I came for the 3-hour all level open play on a Saturday. As someone who fit in with the higher level play, I found the rotation system quite easy to navigate but I can imagine that new people would feel quite intimidated to jump in. I highly suggest signing up for your appropriate level in order to feel included and get the most bang for your buck. The facility is nice, not cold, clean, and plenty of fresh balls to use. I didn’t really interact with any of the staff.
